Upset by OH response

Today is the first time I've felt peanut kick from the out side so I've been really excited to get home from work so my oh can have a feel.

He finally feels his first few kicks and the response was "oh is that it?" before removing his hand and going back to watching the telly.

That's it- I won't bother informing him and peanuts development any more. He could at least pretend to give a dam about his child!!!!

Rant over, thanks! :0/

Aparently most men dont bond with baby till their out. My OH felt it and said if felt a bit like 'muscle spasm' or a 'twitch' Its hard to explain how amazing it feels to a man.

Dont get upset your not alone and im sure when you get bigger and he can feel the kicks getting stronger he will be far more impressed.

Oh dear. Some men just don't get that excitied it doesn't mean they don't care or, love you or, their child any less. Men are very visual creatures so, until your baby is here, kicking and screaming the house down at 2am they don't believe it is all real. Trouble is, us women know and feel pregnant from the off even though we don't look it and, it take some men along time to realise that yes we are pregnant. Very strange but true.

maybe he was all ready for it to feel like something huge, & felt it was a bit of an anti-climax? it's hard for us, because us girlies feel everything, experience everything, where as the men really can never experience pregnancy the same way we do.
keep him involved!
xx

The movement creeps my husband out. It creeps me out a bit too. Don't worry about it. He's excited in his own way and that's ok.
