It was very snotty of her. Was it at the end of the day by any chance? I've noticed nurses are extremely short when they've been on their feet helping patients all day. Had one screaming at me once for accidentally moving my foot during a x-ray. My foot twitched involuntarily!! Wasn't me that did it, honest. lol
It was actually at 9:30 in the morning, Jeez I'd hat to see her towards the end of the day though!!

Really, you should complain to her boss / sister whatever they are.
Really this isnt on.
If she actually said "fat". But really,......that isnt on even if she just implied it.

Do complain, then she'll think twice before being such a rude person! She's in the wrong job.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What a b***h. How dare she, what gives her the right to talk to people like that!!! I would complain, make her realise what a b***h she is. I don't know what to say, I'm gob smacked.

"I understand the point she was trying to make, but God was she rude about it!!"

Don't you be making excuses for her, she was out of order, way out of order, she has absolutely no excuse for talking to people like that. I was told that if I was hungry then eat, if it's a piece of fruit or a biscuit, eat, your body needs it. I would go back and eat a whole box in front of her, stick 2 fingers up and leave with my head held high . Id' probably be sick after but feel better at the same time, ha!

Thats a shocking thing to come out with-i get quite sensitive about my weight so i think i d have been in tears too. Id def complain, she can't get away with talking to people like that.

before i got pregnant, i had a check with a nurse at my gp practice-who told me off because i was three pounds 'overweight'. I didnt find it funny, and she went on and on about eating healthily etc and how i shouldnt eat this and that esp with high blood pressure. i came out in tears because of her yelling at me. I did complain, and havent seen her since. I told my gp, who laughed (not at me) and said he was probably more overweight then me and hes a gp! I cant stand some nurses-they need to get off their high horse and stop being so mean to people.

Keep your chin up-your pregnant and shouldnt be worrying too much over eating a cookie!

keely.

What a cow! Next time you see her, look at her belly and say "it's so nice that we're pregnant together" and then when she says she's not you can just say "oh dear my mistake" and give a big smirk. I can't believe that! She should be struck off, or whatever happens to nurses. Don't take any of her crap next time you see her
