I'm Currently Feeling: | Glad to hear you are doing ok!
Drunk drivers! UGH. The innocent lives they take or the injuries they cause make me so mad.
Next door to us are a couple of which they have two children each from different relationships. The guy's kids have truly suffered a trauma from a drunk driver 3 years ago. They were in their car with their mom and a drunk driver hit them. Their mother died, and these poor kids who were 6 and 7 at the time saw this.
Three years later and court proceedings haven't happened yet. The day will come when the guy will be in court, but it's taken this long so far. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | What a nightmare - you poor thing! I'm so glad LO is OK!! Congrats on your blue bump.
I can't believe anyone would drive over the limit but 5 times over the limit, that's terrible. Hopefully this will stop and make him think before he does it again (you can but hope!!)
Take care and hope all goes well on Tuesday

I'm Currently Feeling: | I hope everything is ok for you. drink drivers make me soooooo mad. I had a row with my boss the other day - even though she doesn't drink/drive, she did admit that she is a speed freak. I really lost my rag and told her some home truths about killing people and the families she'd leave behind - but she just laughed! She said that even though she speeds - she is a safe driver!!!!! How can you be safe and over the speed limit?? Thats why the speed limits there!!
I said some choice words to her and stormed out of the room and gues what....... she thought it was funny.
People like that should be shot. (Was goona put a smiley here, but can't find one strong enough!!) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am really glad you, baby and hubbie are fine.
Drink drivers and yobs who go out and make problems for others really anger me. It also seems that the law is always on their side as well - especially certain teenage trouble makers under 16 who go out at a weekend beating people up and joy riding. It seems like the law just lets them off. It is not the police's fault as more often than not, they would like stricter punishments but their hands are tied as well. The government should be putting in stricter laws protecting the general, and well meaning, members of the public.
It is so sad when innocent people like yourselves get caught up in all this and your lives are put in danger - and the lad himself will probably walk away scotfree, with a small wrap on the knuckles. |
