Hi Louise

Im intrigued by nuchal measurements, my 12 week scan gave me one of 2.3mm and she said high wasnt till 3 - 3.5mm

but my notes from 20 week scan give it at 3mm

I missed out on all tests....
My GP surgery in the south, lost my booking form, so never had a 10 week booking, had a dating scan and 12 week scan by the EPU, who then said since I was moving in 4 days, there was no point doing bloods etc...

So moved up north, finally saw the midwife (despite registering the day I got here on the 15th dec) on the 18th jan, and she told me it was too late for anything apart from anomaly scan, she took some bloods though.

I dont mind too much though because im not sure i wanted any of the tests anyway....

LG - i love those names hun, sorry to hear about your cousin. I like Chase but somehow it doesnt seem to work as a name in the UK.
Whereabouts in Alberta are you? We've visited Calgary quite a few times when my nan lived there....

Symptoms at the moment are my ever increasing appetite, so any threads/posts about food and Im there LOL
Desperate to be really good next week though and eat healthily. Since getting my appetite back Ive eaten mainly junk, including 4 wagon wheels this afternoon.... And having takeaway for dinner....

Hi All,

I'm Fiona, I'm 36 and expecting our first - Due June 14th. I have been married 13 yrs almost, together 17 years. We both never really wanted kids until the last couple of years...kinda lucky we both changed our minds at the same time. We were happy with our 2 fur kids (Dalmatian and Vizsla), but something was missing.

We moved to Canada 4 1/2 yrs ago but are originally from Scotland (with a stint in Sutton Coldfield).

We are having a boy Name still TBD but current favourites are Adam or Gabriel. So far the pregnancy has been pretty easy. A bit of nausea at the start, some tiredness (well, a lot of tiredness...comes with the territory though). IPS showed low risk, 20 week scan was perfect.

I work full time as an engineering manager for a smart phone manufacturer and plan to return after the baby is born (taking 7 months off). I say plan, I have to....

Erm, that's probably enough for now

Happy and healthy pregnancies to you all.....

Fi

Hi NYC bride,

From looking online (believe me I've done a lot of googling!) it seems everyone has a diff opinion of whats "high" the last measurement at 16 weeks was 2.2mm, I'm expecting it to have gone up a bit at my scan Monday, but from what I've read anything upto 5-6mm at 20 weeks is normal

I'm trying not to worry now to be honest, getting too excited to meet my little baby!!

xxx

Haha nice. I can't feel any kicking yet! I keep prodding baby to get it to do something, but no luck!

I'm outside Edmonton, so a few hours north of Calgary. I've never actually been to Calgary.
