I'm Currently Feeling: | Hello, heartburn! I'm 25 weeks along, and in the last week have started noticing heartburn on a fairly regular basis--especially when I wake up in the middle of the night! Last night I ate a piece of toast and peanut butter about a half hour before bed, and sure enough, 3 hours later was awake needing to prop myself up on pillows. Over a piece of toast! Anybody else at this stage starting to develop this? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i've been getting heartburn in the middle of the night too. it's awful, i wake up feeling like i am having a heart attack. the best remedy i've found is mylanta liquid and sleeping slightly propped up. i sympathise, heartburn is incredibly uncomfortable. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Gaviscon liquid is fab ( I drink it like juice, at night ).
Put something underthe head end of your bed too, to raise it slightly, stops the reflux then. Bricks are best if you find a few. You only have to raise it slightly... not so you're sliding out the bottom of the bed |

I'm Currently Feeling: | try a glass of cold milk. Hearburn cripples me sometimes but milk always does the trick. I can't stand the taste of heartburn medicines!

I'm Currently Feeling: | Same as leeanne here, it's the oddest feeling being hungry and having heartburn at the same time Talked to my OB about it and she said I could use Rolaids or Tums as needed |
