Pelvic floor exercises....i cant do them..pls give me some advice.

I've tried to do them and followed the advice that's been given in the book I'm reading, ie:

-hold my muscles as though i'm stopping myself peeing whilst at the same time not squeezing my butt or abdominal muscles.

But i just cant seem to do them

Please help x

Hee hee......sorry shouldn't laugh! I think you are doing them and no realizing you actually are! I would try when you are going to the bathromm next time to stop the flow of urine a couple of times. If you can do that you can do the kegals! Good luck!

LOL

Sorry that amused me. In the beginning it's pretty difficult not to just squeeze everything. But after you've been doing them for a while you'll be able to control which muscles you contract and which not alot easier.

Bless'ya
Insert a finger into your doodah, and then do it, and you'll feel the muscles that you're tightening

Mainly stops you from pee-ing yourself when you sneeze or laugh or cough.... Also, hubby won't complain too much after babe is born that everything has gotten a bit 'loose'.
