Not all men are like this, my husband is very interested in knowing what's going on. He got more involved once we got our ultrasound and actually got to see the baby and now that our LO is kicking, my OH can feel him and also see him move around in my stomach. He is just amazed and always touches my belly and talks to our LO. To be honest, me being pregnant has actually brought us closer (which was much needed). Maybe once your LO starts kicking your OH will get more involved. Other men have admitted to me that they get more excited once the baby arrives because then they get their one on one bonding. I do think that men get jealous that they don't get to bond with the baby like we do because we feel every movement and they don't. Men just watch us go through all the stages of pregnancy and play the waiting game of our LO's arrival. Try not to give up too much hope, maybe he will come around. Have you had an ultrasound done yet? Maybe once he sees the baby then he will realize what an amazing gift that you two have.
