Ohhhhh I have the AngelSounds one. I got it at 16 weeks too. It's brilliant!!! I wouldn't live without mine! Also I've recorded baby onto my computer!

I hope your appointment went alright hun.

I'm back. Twas a really quick appointment. I've had the same midwife for all three babies, so we get on really well. Turns out, that because I went for my Nuchal scan privately, not at the hospital, thats why my 20 week wasn't booked. If I'd have gone to the hospital for my 12 week, I would have had it booked then. I was sure the MW had filled out the form while I was there, but it was the prescription exemption form that she filled out, so mis-communication all round. She's fxing the referral over today, so I should get my scan on time

My blood pressure is 90/60, which I didn't actually see until I came home and read my notes. She didn't say anything to me, but I think thats quite low??? I'm normally 100/60, but still........... is that low do you think?

She listened in to baby. Mia is very stubborn when it comes to having her heartbeat listened to, and once again, it took ages to find her, but there she was

And then, I got home, and my doppler was on the doorstep

I've had a go with it, but couldn't hear much, except my creaky fingers, and a few little random popping noises !!??

Beckyboo... I don't suppose you could share your recording so that I can know what I'm listening for. It says in the manual it's completely different to waht you hear on the MW's doppler......

My blood pressure is always up and down and they never seem to worry much aslong as the bottom number isn't below 60 or above 90. Glad everything is alright!

Yay! Glad everything went well and all the problems in the first post of this thread resolved.

My blood pressure at my latest appointment was below 60 and thats not good but she said that above 60 is low but not worrying...

The Angel sounds doppler doesn't sound to me that different than the heartbeat you hear at the doctors...It's just a little quieter and not as clear, but as you said maybe Mia is just a bit shy with letting people hear her heartbeat...

Sure hun. You'll need to download it but doesn't take long as for somereason I couldn't get it up to youtube.

Just zoom around until you find it and compare to your own heartbeat, should be faster of course.

I always find mine below belly button but will change from middle to left or right.

I'd say the AngelSounds doppler is just as good as the one at the doctors. I always find it clear and it's never faster than the doctor's one.

If you want to measure the beat, count it for 15 sec and x by 4.

That one I posted you can hear my beat behind it at little bits where bubs moved away from doppler. Whenever I find it's heart beat nice and clear I put in recording cable and she jumps away!
