Baby movements

I started feeling proper kicks at about 20 weeks, but since yday I've hardly felt baby kick!!
I took a flight to glasgow yday ( 1 way)- I do hope that hasnt got anything to do with it?? Altho I've spoken to a midwife & she says its fine to fly up to 28 weeks & Im even planning an european trip later this month...

I have felt a few light moves today but not proper kicks like I normally do.. and i also have a slight pain near my pubic bone- like a stitch!!

Anyone else experienced this?

at 20 weeks, mine kicked like mad one day then felt nothing for one or two days.

Flying is no risk to your baby at all, apart from DVT. I wouldnt fly later than 25 weeks tho. I did a long haul and was sooooo uncomfortable!!

I'm not that far ahead so can't really comment but a few mins ago, I had read that if you do get worried some ways to get motivate baby to move are to:

Lie on your side with bump fully supported
Put your feet up and relax
Play music to your stomach

I had some movement/kicks around 20 weeks and I started to get worried around 23 when there were a couple of days I didn't feel much at all. Bump seems to be back to normal though after a few days rest and is as active as before. I've had the pain by my pubic bone for 3 or 4 days now, from talking to people it's pretty normal tho.

This thread is making me feel better. I fell today and haven't really felt Beano since, even though I saw his heartbeat on an ultrasound after it happened. I'm hoping he's just having a little rest in there.

I'm 20 weeks hun and I feel baby kick loads one minute and then I might feel it for a day or so. And the next minute I'd wish she'd stop kicking me as shes up so high she makes me feel sick!!!

All is fine hun. They tire out quickly too as you have to think they fit in the palm of your hand.

I find that I don't get much for a day or so too sometimes. I got sent this in an email by 'what to expect.com' today and I've cut out the relevant bit. It's sent to me as a 21 week update. It made me feel better about the quieter days, I hope it might do the same for you!

'After feeling that first momentous kick (or was it?), it's not surprising you're aching to feel more. But a mom's perception of movement is very erratic during the second trimester. Though your baby is almost certainly moving continually, you probably won't be feeling it consistently until he or she is bigger and packing a more powerful punch. In fact, it's not unusual for a day, or two, or even three to go by during the early weeks of movement without hearing from (or, rather, feeling) your baby. It's not until the third trimester that you'll need to keep track of your baby's kicks; after 28 weeks, in fact, your practitioner will likely advise you to keep count once a day.'
