How many sleepsuits?

I have no idea how many clothes to buy! How often is a baby likely to need a fresh outfit in a day? I'm completely clueless

I've heard 4-7 each of sleepsuits, undervests and shirts. Then assorted socks/booties etc. Babies need to be layered. Not in a day, though that is possible of course.

I would start with 7 wondersuits and singlets. You will probably get a heap of stuff from friends and family once bubs has arrived. Don't go over the top as they grow so fast.

i bought 2 packs of sleepsuits so i have either 6/8, but ive been given loads too, i dont wanna be doing washing everyday lol!

The more the better. Less washing is good!

I think ds usually went through about 2-3 outfits a day (pajamas, his normal "clothes" for the day, then usually one change into something else... Oh and at some point - usually a onesie too!). Of course - it gets worse when baby is older and eating solids... so I would get more stuff in the 6 months + sizes!

Generally - little babies don't need changing as often - unless a bad spit up happens or a diaper explodes (and they will! LOL). Its the older ones that need frequent clothing changes - from my experience anyhow!
