Unhappy

Abit worried!!!!!

I am abit worried as i felt baby move about two weeks ago just little flutters and then that was it nothing and still nothing, as this is #4 i thought that i would have felt proper kicks by now (18 weeks).

Feel abit too normal at the moment no sickness, no movement, no breast pain, i have just alittle bump.

Is anyone feeling the same, i have scan in two weeks and even tho i am looking forward to seing the sex of baby and i am really wanting to see if he/she is ok, not seen anybody since 14 weeks preg.

sarah

I was the same... I first fel baby move (light flutters) from about 13 - 16 weeks, and then nothing until about 22 weeks, and now I can actually sit and watch my baby move. I was so worried that I even called my doctor about it. I can assure you that bubs is moving, you are just not feeling it... You will see at your ultrasound, like i did. It amazes how much they can move around and us not feel it!! Good Luck!!

Also I have an anterior placenta, which means that it is on the front of my stomache, and I was told that that would have cushioned the lighter kicks in the begining.

Hi,

I'm 22 weeks and still nothing, slight flutters very occasionally, I had a scan and LO was moving quite a lot, I was told I have a hard stomach lol, but also LO still only weighs about a lb so would be light kicks anyway...it can be worrying though, I bought a home Angel sounds doppler just for reassurance otherwise I think I would spend the next 4 mths paranoid.

If you are really anxious i would ring midwife or doc and insist they check you over also youre supposed to see a mw for check up every 4 weeks and from what youve said it will be 6 before they check you over again that is when you have your scan make them see you thats what i would do

For peace of mind, I would call your midwife and talk to her about your concerns.

At the same time, many do lose many of their symptoms at the end of 1st trimester or beginning of the 2nd. It's quite normal to not feel pregnant at this stage.

Baby's movements are also very sporadic too at this stage as he/she is very small still. I've brought this up before but it's amazing. At my 3D scan at 16 weeks baby was so active and I felt only one movement during that entire scan. It shows that you just don't feel everything this early.

Once again though, do call your midwife.
