Can sum1 recomend sumthing for constipation PLEASE - Page 3

girl at my work to me to have prune juice (im the same couldnt bring myself to have it she also advised a can of sweetheat stout, it really helped her constipation when she was preg x

I've sat and eaten a whole bag of purple grapes before, and that's definitely made me go! Fruit, fruit and more fruit! Oranges, grapes, plums, plenty of water. Good luck. Guess I've got this to look forward to x

Lactulose is the best remedy that's safe in pregnancy. You get it from your pharmacy and it is very gentle. Do not use any stimulant laxatives like senna or dulcolax though.

Another vote for lactulose here. I got it prescribed as I have also been prescribed codeine and co-codamol (obviously not taking them at the same time) and codeine can cause constipation too.

eat lots and lots of grapes.. it works for me
