Bladder ache

Hi everyone
Hope you are all well. Am just popping in from the 1st Tri (not long till I'll be joining you here!) as I think this problem might affect people in this stage more than the 1st Tri.

So far in this pregnancy i haven't really had a problem with needing the toilet loads and only get up once or twice in the night.

Last night I was up loads as I really really needed the toilet - but nothing came out. I actually had an ache in my bladder it felt so full but it obviously wasn't.

When I got up I drank a load of water, went to the loo 10 minutes later and STILL nothing, just the ache still. Then all of a sudden I had a huge gush of wee and then it felt much better. It was almost like it was being blocked from coming out at first, if that makes sense?!

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this or if I need to get a sample tested (which will be Friday at the earliest)

hi hun. i would go to docs and take a urine sample with you. i went to docs on monday cos i had excruiting (sp) pain in my right side and hardly passing urine even though i felt like i needed the toilet. im now on antibiotics for a water infection. 2 days before that my urine was tested and it was clear,so in the space of 2 days i had a full blown water infection xox
