My grumpy rant!!!

Sorry in advance!!

I am in bloody agony & I have been for nearly 2 weeks now I have been diagnosed with SPD & I swear I have never felt pain like it...This is my 3rd baby & I tell you if I had of had this before my eldest would of been an only child. I have been referred for urgent physio & am sitting on the phone waiting & praying for physio to ring. The doctor rang me this morn & said I had to have complete rest apart from the fact that I cant lie down as I am in so much pain but I have 2 kids to look after grrrrrr!!!!!

paracetamol (sp) are f***ing useless!!

Sorry guys for the vent xxx

sorry you are feeling this way honey. All i can recommend is getting a hot water bottle or wheat bag and make them at a gentle heat (not too hot) and sit with it on where you are getting the most pain as this will help soothe the muscles a little. Paracetamols won't even touch the pain so you need to find out if you can take anything stronger, aspirin based is good for this sort of pain, but i am not sure we are allowed to take it.
I have been training with a physio and have just finished, so know they can do wonders. Try and relax and get somebody else to deal with your other kiddie winks for a bit. Hope you feel better soon xx

If available, see if someone can look after your little ones for a bit so you can take a relaxing bath and get some rest. Also, Charlotte had a great idea with the hot water bottle. Maybe a massage would help too. I hope you feel better soon.

I had these really cool pads that contains menthol and make everything feel icy cold for about 5 hours. They stick on under your clothes and apart from having a really cold bit, you wouldnt know you were wearing them. Killed the pain in my back really well!
