Hey everyone! I had my blood tests done at 16 weeks for down syndrome and all the others but still didnt get my results when i went to see the midwife. She just said that test is sent somewhere else and takes longer to come bk. I was just wondering if u have had ur results bk (if u had the test). Ive got my 20 scan tomorrow as well so would they be able to tell if there was anything wrong from the scan?? Thankyou! x x x x

they cant diagnose downs from a scan ,but they can see things that may be markers for it.

did they not look at the nucal (can't spell it!) fold in your dating scan?

Had my blood tests today too and I was told to call back in 2 weeks today for the result. It should only take a couple of weeks.

You may not have been offered the nuchal(?) scan. I know in Leicester you have to pay for it as its not offered in NHS.
