I'm Currently Feeling: | Please forgive me this is way too much TMI for a weekday I'm only posting this to stop myself getting in a panic, I'm not trying to gross you out I promise .......
I just went for a poo (sorry!) and when I wiped there was a little bit of blood there and then a load of normal coloured CM. I've wiped so many times since and it's all normal. I can feel Beano still kicking me and I listened in with my doppler and all sounded ok. Should I be alright? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Think the blood perhaps could have been hemorroids? Many pregnant women will get a form of them due to baby's weight pressing down. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Where was the blood coming from? TMI I know but if it was coming from the poo then it was probably heamorroids/piles. They clear up on their own normally. If it was coming from your erm hoohaa? Then, have you been having sex? That can cause bleeding.. |

Although the blood must have come out first because it wasn't mixed in with the loads of normal CM, it was just a small amount on its own.
We haven't had sex for a few days so I don't think it's that either. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Maybe it wouldn't hurt to get checked out, just for peace of mind more than anything else. I think if it was a small amount you should be alright! Better to be safe than sorry though. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm not sure what to think or say. Perhaps call your midwife and explain your concerns. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hun i wouldnt worry too much i had this very same problem (luckily it has cleared up now). This might be TMI - but when i had the problem the first wipe was always with bright red blood. I'm pretty sure what you described is piles, and it wouldn't neccassarily hurt when you go in order for it to bleed, because of the increased blood flow and pressure in that area it is very common.
But if you are concerned then take a trip to the doctors, it won't hurt and they are there to help you
Good luck hun i'm sure it will all be fine

| I've had it twice with this pregnancy.
The first time was when I was 8 weeks so I freaked out completely! But it was fresh plain blood. Wasn't mixed with CM. I had it again the other week and again it wasn't mixed. Then I tried to figure out where it was coming from. Turns out it was an outside wound. My skin has become so sensitive since I fell pregnant. That and the increased visits to the bathroom... PLUS the fact that the toilet paper at work is like sand paper. It seems it was just raw.
Gave me a fright! | | | | Status: Offline
