Still sore :( could it be constipation?

I posted yesterday saying my tummy and hips were sore. The hip pain has gone but i still have a sore and slightly painful abdomen. Could this just be constipation as i haven't been to the loo for a few days and i have had bad wind. Bubs is kicking around as normal so i'd like to think i have nothing to worry about. Anyone have the same that can stop me worrying? x x

If you haven't done your business for few days, better do something about it before it get worse.
I also get discomfort on my tummy when I am constipated.... Fell like if I were very full and heavy. Sometime makes me really sick and fell like going to vomit.

Constipation can be awful. I always take kiwis, they always do the trick.

Most likely! Even before I was pregnant I had issues with this and had tests to see what the heck was going on. Sure enough, when I started eating more fibre and going to the bathroom almost daily, the pain subsided. Now that I am pregnant, the gas pains can get pretty bad!

I suffer from IBD that flares up randomly or if I eat something my body doesn't like. A few weeks ago I was cramping so badly and going to the toilet A LOT! Each time there was blood in it (from the BM end) I was convinced that there was something wrong with my little bubs. The next day my abdomen was really sore so i phoned the hospital and the midwife i spoke to said asked if I was constipated/had upset tummy then she said that either option would make my intestines and bowel were likely to be inflamed from all the toilet action so not to worry. She suggested drinking hot water (boiled in kettle) as it would soothe my tummy. She said if in 24 hours I felt no better then to call back. Thankfully i felt fine again by the next day. Hope you do too.
