So Worried Now :,(

Ugh, I had my anomoly/sexing scan a couple weeks ago and everything looked fine except the baby was measuring a couple weeks small...actually by a difference of 19 days! So I got a call just yesterday from my OB saying that I need another scan because my early ones weren't done to take measurements so they have nothing to compare to. But I couldn't make one until April 28th! They might change my dd from July 7th all the way to the 26th but I am absolutely sure about my last menstrual period dates and such. So I am so confused and worried now! If they move me back and make me 23 wks that means I was feeling the first movements at about 12 wks which isn't even possible right? As far as current baby movements and developments go, I feel like I'm on target for 26 weeks because for a few weeks now she's been kicking so hard and I can feel the complete outline of her body and I can see her moving and kicking on the outside. Would that even be possible at 23ish weeks? I've been able to feel definite kicks on the outside for about 5 weeks now.

*sigh* sorry for such a long confusing rant/cry! I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow actually but I'm afraid they won't be able to reassure me much without seeing another scan, which isn't for weeks

I would really push for a scan tomorrow. Talk to your doc and tell her/him how worried this makes you. Remember a squeaky wheel gets the oil. Also remember that measurements are not 100%, every baby grows at their own pace. Your LO may have had a big growth spurt since then, or she may have been at an odd angle and the tech couldn't quite get her measure just so. As hard as it is, try not to worry love!

I'm trying really hard to stay occupied and positive and not worry and my DH is being supportive and always telling me she'll be fine and she's just small because I'm small. I am going to try to push for a sooner scan but I'm on a big military base on a small overpopulated island lol so I don't think they can really accomodate a worried preggo lady in the blink of an eye but I am still going to try!

Sorry to hear about your scan. I would be stresing out too - although I am sure she is fine. How about a private scan?
