Pregnancy safe cold and flu medicines?

Hey David really wants to get me to docs because my cold is just getting worse and worse but I'm refusing to go out into the cold because I feel I'll end up with the flu or worse if I do!
Do you know any pregnancy safe cold medicines I can use?

Jade, many are safe in pregnancy luckily! I've just developped a really bad cold this week and called MotherRisk here in Canada about it. Let me know if you want a list of the ingredients in the ones I am taking, I can PM you about it!

I found this same list and started cross referencing some of them and found that data from studies is inconclusive or incomplete... It was really frustrating. If you can talk to a reputable doctor or pharmacist before choosing to take meds

I was told to avoid things like lemsip and strepsils during pregnancy, so i take paracetamol and drink orange juice. Also you can rub vicks on your chest. But i would also give the dr a call just to be on safe side as its getting worse. Hope your feeling a little better today though.
