I'm Currently Feeling: | I can finally buy things for baby! Got my haircut on Saturday and just had to look at boy stuff. Got a few things.
However, I decided, especially after knowing how fast babies grow, that I am going to buy a lot of things secondhand.
I found craigslist to be very helpful. At 5:30 I am going to look at a whole bunch of clothes for baby boy. A lot of them for quite cheap and looks in very good condition. If I get them, I won't need anything for quite awhile.
Also found a rainforest bouncer and playmat going altogether for $45. If I bought these from the store I would be spending $160. They are in wonderful condition too. | | | | Status: Online

This lady selling the clothes has many of them....quite a few loads.
At least the clothing will all be taken care of, plus the bouncing seat which I found was absolutely helpful in the past with my others. http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bab/624452838.html http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/tag/622341957.html | |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ebay I think is great if you live in the States, but for Canadians, it's really not that useful. You can hardly ever find sellers in Canada and it's not worth buying something only to pay customs and taxes etc. | | | | Status: Offline

It's nice at Christmas though as the US often has toys, etc. that we don't have yet.
However, for the most part, it's really not a savings.
I think I am a Craigslist fan now. | | | | Status: Online

I'm Currently Feeling: | We shopped a lot on Ebay for our wedding, but I lived in the States than so the costs weren't bad at all. You can find some really nice stuff on there, but it only took me one time of paying customs and taxes that I said never again | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I love the shopping bit. Although luckily our little boy is only 10 months old so I still have a lot of his clothes in the drawers upstairs. When we move in July I'll sort it all out again | | | | Status: Online
