I'm Currently Feeling:  | Annoying people
My so called best friend is a nosey so & so but today has almost pushed me over the edge..
She asked me if we have chosen any names yet & I said Yes but we are keeping it a surprise for when the baby is born...
Now I think there is nothing wrong with a couple wanting to do this but she seems to have gotten the hump with me saying she regrets telling me her choices of baby names (she is pregnant too)

I'm Currently Feeling: | ^^ Yes just because I have been honest with her & said we have chosen names but they are a surprise!!
I have even said the same things to my parents so what makes her thinks she's special?
Oh & bear in mind I told her I was pregnant before anyone else!!!
Thats no longer important to her, she's now got the hump about me knowing her names but her not mine!!

| I agree with lots of things here, i would blame it on her hormones.... she is pregnant too! But secondly maybe she does think you are going to have your baby first and steal her names?!

Actually my best friend is the only one I have told all my names too. She will be honest about a name, help me think of all the different things that you can do with the name/nickname and so on, without being annoying about it. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I would blame part of it on her hormones and the other part just being plain selfish. If you and your OH have decided to keep the names a secret, then that is your business and no one else's. It's your baby and you will do things the way you want to because it's your decision. I wouldn't worry too much about what she thinks or says, give her time to get over it and she will be wanting to hang out in no time.
People always have to put in their two cents when it's not wanted, it comes with being pregnant I guess (so I have learned). People think they have to know every single detail about you and the baby and they think they know what is best for you. It's really annoying, I wish I could just be at home and enjoy my pregnancy without people being so damn nosy. |
