well im admitting defeat- i can no longer squease myself into my normal clothes, ive been fighting a losing battle for weeks and living in my joggers and pjs is not much of a victory and im only just comin up to 17 weeks!! i was just wondering how far everyone was before they started wearing maternity wear

I bought my first - a pair of combats from M&Ps before i grew out of my jeans, but they were soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable! It took me a while to discover the adjustable bits on the inside to stop them falling down but I am now 26 weeks and they still fit great with loads of room to spare.

I thought about it as - if you are not going to be able to wear them after the bump is gone, you might as well make the most of them by buying them early!

I bought my first pair of Maternity jeans around 12/13 weeks but I only started to wear other Maternity clothes about 15/16 weeks. Think I gave into jeans as they're normally the tightest fitting. Just give in and buy some, I couldn't turn back now! xx xx

No ive not bought anything as yet. However i an thinking of doing so real soon(trousers/jeans that is) as some of my jeans and work trousers are starting to feel a little snug. However i have got some that are a little big on me so i will be ok for a bit.

Do fancy the idea of some comfy maternity wear though

around weeks 13/14 for me. Guess I was an early starter!
Can only wear "normal" tops now if they are very long, otherwise belly pokes out below, and the big elastic aprt of the maternity trousers is on show.. Even my big cosy winter regular zip up fleeces and coats are begining to be too tight now. Hurry up summer!
