I got mine the day after my doctor's appointment in my 12th week. At that appointment, the doctor didn't locate it. When I got mine the next day, I tried but couldn't find it. Perhaps tried a couple of times again until my 14th week when I finally heard it.

Then, it's been sitting in my cupboard now. I saw the baby during my 3D scan and that same week I felt baby move, and it's been everyday since then. I guess I just feel that all is ok.

Oh, during my 3D scan I got this for free as I allowed a student to observe:

Nah, we are keeping it. LOL The recording device that the heartbeat is recorded on is put inside the bear. Whenever you squeeze the bear the baby's heartbeat is heard.

I thought it might be.. I was thinking, it'd be really good to get them with Mummys heartbeat to have next to little one so that they could hear the sounds of the womb... but they don't recommend having teddies in the cot.

A nice idea but definitely not safe either.

I was looking at vibrating bouncing chairs and there are some that have music, as well as the womb sounds. Very interesting.

I just remembered, I got a CD from Pampers in one of the baby packs.... it has a recording of things going on as if your in the womb... voices and music and things.... You could stick it on a cd player in the nursery.........
