Does anyone else worry when they are on prescribed tablets?

I'm worried my babies are gonna be spaced out little monkeys with everything...progesterone, cefradine, co-codamol, folic acid, tanzeparin and paracetamol.

I don't like asking the midwives in case they think I am thick!

Ask away hun, thats what the midwifes are there for, as far as I know all the drugs you are on are perfectly sfe for your wee boys.

If they ever let you out of bed your gonna rattle!!

I know what you mean. I had to get on some antibiotics early in my pregnancy and I goggled it (a big no no) stressed myself out and made an appointment to discuss it with my Dr. When I asked them they made me feel dumb for asking

I'm sure they wouldn't give them if it wasn't safe but I can't help but wonder.

I was given something I shouldn't take. It was a class c drug and i got home and googled it. Thankfully, I did and was able to call my sister who is a pharmacist and she said, DON'T TAKE THAT! exactly what google said. but it wasn't from my ob b ut another doctor who was told i was pregnant and how far along i was!

I got put on meds for high bp during pregnancy, the first thing out of the doctors mouth when he said he was prescribing it was "It's 100% safe for the baby". So, I didn't end up having to ask although that was my first worry.

You should just ask the midwives, that's what they're there for, they won't think anything of it or you!

I know how you feel. I have had a infection in my mouth since before xmas. Went to docs he sent me away saying it was a vit B12 deficiency told me to take vits and that I should have a blood test. I am taking pregnacare plus which is loaded with Vit B12 so I was pretty pissed off he just dismissed me. Anyway it got worse and spread so I went back to see a different doctor and he said that as the infection hadn't been treated it had "taken hold" and he has put me on Penicillin I am not happy about taking it but I have no choice. Doc says its ok but after last time I don't trust him!
