| feeling fed up after M/W apointment. i went for my 22 week M/W apointment today and im now feeling fed up.
here goes,
well she checked my blood pressure and she said 'that looks nice and low' and i didnt even think about it until i got home and looked at my notes and it says blood pressure was 90/60 BUT when i saw the midwife for the 1st time she checked my blood pressure and it was 105/65 and she said 'thats very low and we will have to keep an eye on it'. so todays blood pressure is really low, right?
then she asked if ive felt any movement and i said 'oh yes it doesnt stop' and i mentioned that you can feel it when hand is on my belly.
so she then said 'oh you shouldnt be having that much movements, you should only be feeling little flutters and not proper kicks.
then she asked me if i have thought about going to the parentcraft class at the hospital. which i have and ive booked it for may.
last time i saw her she said you need to book it asap,so i did what she said and book it for may (ill be 29 weeks) but they only have these once a month so the next one after the may one is 21st june, which will make me 35 weeks so i thought i would book the may one as i didnt want to be in a hospital all day when i only have 5 weeks left. so the midwife said 'oooh thats way too early.' BUT if they had them more than once a month i could go on a different time but i didnt want to do it at 35 weeks so i chose the one before that.
then she started going on about breast feeding classes and i said no im bottle feeding. my 1st midwife apointment with a different midwife she asked how i was gonna feed baby and when i said bottle feed she said oh ok,and didnt fuss that i wasnt gonna breast feed. but this midwife i saw today goes well book the breastfeeding classes and it may change my mind. even though i told her i was bottle feeding.
stupid bloody woman.
aaaarrh ive had enough.
sorry for the rant but im really fed up and need a little cuddle.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Your blood pressure might be in the lower range of normal but it's not LOW (as in below normal). Personally, I think you should go to the breast feeding class. If anything it'll make you 100% sure you don't want to breast feed!
Sorry she was such a bitch though. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It's awful when they make you feel so pants!
Try not to worry and maybe next time ask for a different midwife!
I was told the same way about being rhesus negative as if it was just so matter of fact.
I think they forget that we're not just a maternity case number (and some of us simply don't have a clue what to expect - me included!!)
Try not to worry xx xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'd be irritated too. I think low is when it goes below 60 on the bottom number. I don't know about the top number. If your bellies hard then babies probably laying with their bum sticking out! I have a different midwife now too. Luckily I got on with them both! |

about my belly being hard, its hard all over.
some times it harder on one side than the other but i think thats just the side baby is on. |
