I've not really got any advice but just wanted so send some to cheer u up.

Maybe asking for a new m/w is the solution?

My blood pressure was considered 'raised' at 14wks at 145/70, but that's only cause my normal is 120/60. I think at my 16wks I was 125/60 and that's supposed to be in the normal range. When It had gone up a bit I asked them to explain it to me and she said that 145/70 is not 'high' and that it's the bottom number that is the most important and that 70 was still well within the normal range. Your '60' is probably fine then.

Sorry you had a bad time with your m/w

sorry it didn't go well hun and hope you get a different mw next time x

my sister in law when she was pregnant saw the same one and everytime she went into see her she kept asking her if she was here for her smear test when she was blatantly pregnant!!

if you still feel unsure maybe you could ask to speak to someone else? are you seeing your mw at your local gp? or are you going to the hospital - maybe phone up the other and ask to speak to someone? Have no idea if you can do that as haven't even had a mw appointment yet only booking in so sorry if I sound stupid!

here is your hug you needed

xx

Have just dug out my notes and my blood pressure has been;
12 wks 100/60
17 wks 100/62
18 wks 90/60
20 wks 100/64

So mine looks as though it's been quite low all along. Just something for you to note tho;

progesterone relaxes the walls of blood vessels, which is why your BP often falls around the middle of pregnancy. During a normal pregnancy, your blood pressure gradually decreases in the beginning, reaching its lowest point in the middle of your pregnancy. It then begins to rise, returning to its regular level by the end of pregnancy.

I'll let you know if I see any change to mine at my next appt at 25 wks.
Remember too, your blood volume will increase by about a third through pregnancy so there's a lot of changes for your body to cope with.

Midwifes won't worry unless you have high BP or you hurt yourself fainting due to low BP.

Mine is 100/60... and always has been. I have felt really faint this pregnancy, so I wondered if it could be because it's lower then average, but the MW said, if thats my normal range, not to worry.... Does that then mean, tht if mine went up to 125/85, they'd class me as having high blood pressure?? It is very confusing.
I was told though, that the danger of low blood pressure is only to Mum with fainting, not to Babe, so thts reassuring.
