I have a buzz and love it! Would say though that if you dont want to spend the huge price new then look on ebay. Got mine as good as new for £60!

Oh, there are also loads of carrycots (new as well as used) which are loads cheaper than buying new considering they really arent in them long.

If you are looking at the Quinny, we also liked the Oyster - which seemed simpler and lighter (and cheaper!) and today saw the M&P Sola which is also lovely - both similar to the Quinny - not many colour options though.

I have a strawberry coloured buzz, it comes with an XL seat so can be used for a toddler. the Mothercare My4 is also made by Quinny I believe if cost is an option.

With the buzz a newborn needs to be in the carseat or the dreami carrycot which you can buy seperately!! I think the seat is from six months but our son was in it at 4 months as he was so nosey and wanted to sit up!!

I loved my buzz, but it is quite bulky, we bought a baby jogger city mini for the car which with an adapter fits the maxi cosi car seat also!!

Getting the icandy peach blossom this time though as I need a double! The peach itself is quite pricey but smaller than the quinny! This fits the maxi cosi too but also needs a carrycot from newborn!!

Hope that helps x

I thought quinny can be used from birth without carrycot.its sold as ok for new borns.i thought the baby can still lie flat in it,but the legs may be raised slightly-but the back will still be flat-this was the impression i got from all the sales assistants etc

Just read the manual which says 'if used from birth it is advises that you use with either car seat or dreami carrycot' so I suppose you could use it without!! Personally I wouldnt as the seat unit isn't lie flat at all and newborns are supposed to lie flat as often as possible!!

Prob be a good idea to buy a second hand dreami though as my LO was only in it a few months so bit of a waste of money x

I went off the Bubabloos as read that taller babies grow ot of them quickly and me and OH are both quite tall.

We got a Jane formula travel system this weekend but it's quite expensive. Good for walking though and it's really light - only 8 KG!

I have ordered a Quinny 4 as it says it's suitable from birth as 3 recline positions in rear facing. Kiddicare has a video demo of it which I found v helpful.
