Baby's gender

I know I could probably google this & no doubt I will later but I thought I'd ask u ladies...

What predicts the babys gender?
I know it depends on the male, but does it depends on what sort of pattern runs on his dad's side? ie; girls first, then boys etc?

i really dont think thats got anything 2 do with it. i think if you have sex a day or 2 b4 u ov you will get a higher % of the chances of a girl as girl sperm last longer, boy sperm dies quicker so the day u ov or day after you are more likely to have a boy. have read that a few times in different mags, although i havent met anyone who has tried it this way!!!

it does depend on the man, but after that I think it's pot luck!! My brother had 4 girls, but he's from a family of one girl and one boy. And his father had a brother and a sister. I think it's all just chance!

The man's sperm is what determines the gender. Other than that, I think it's all just chance too as to what sperm gets to the egg first.

I think you can tell if a woman is going to have girls or boys or both if you know her well enough. That's just my opinion though, not scientific facts or anything.
