Loubielou is right. The best way too chose the gender is to have sex about 2/3 days before ovulation and then abstain for a girl and for a boy only on the day of ovulation and day after. My mum did the second method after me and my sister and got a boy!
There are also certain positions that can favour the boys getting to the egg before the girls - positions that place the sperm closer to the cervix like 'doggy' mean they don't have to battle through alkaline conditions in the vagina which favours girls.
These methods just increase your chances, but are obviously not 100% |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hmmmm... thing is.. we were using OPK's and in the month that I got pregnant we refrained from making love appx 4 days before my estimated ov day.
Then as soon as OPK came up with a faint positive we made love...
The day after it was a dark positive & we made love again..
I am convinced I am having a girl... So does this fit in with above theory? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Mmm My OH was married before we met & his ex was desperate for a girl but they had 3 boys she blamed it on him said he had no X's or something like that......we got together had a son then a daughter and now another girl on the way....interesting!!! |

Me & Dh are over the moon.. but me being me Im already thinking of the next one & Id like that to be a boy!
The baby was in a strange position when we had the scan... it was facing down alot..
