I read somewhere yesterday that from around 23 or 24 weeks a baby is considered viable as his lungs can breathe a little outside the womb and he has a good chance of survival if he was to come early. So this is the 24th week for me..

So my baby is viable! I'm so happy to realise this!
I know that once we get to week 26 or the third tri then that's when the risk goes right down, but still - it's so nice to know he's been a good sticky boy! It seems only days ago I was praying to get to week 12 so the immediate risk of MC would go down.

Stay in there baby and keep cooking, you're doing a grrreat job!! x

I know exactly what you mean, every week always seems to be a bonus!!!
I'm sure your bean will carry on sticking and wont make an appearence before he's ready!!!!

Aww I know how you feel hunni & congratulations for getting this far. I'm 21wks on Thursday & I remember being 5 wks and so terrified. It took us over 2 yrs to get this lil bean... and 2 month of fertility treatment. So sometimes it still doesn't feel real!
I can now feel baby moving sometimes, and got bad heartburn, backache, hip ache, leg ache and allsorts. But I wouldn't change it for the world.
Though I'm kinda worried as Friday I have my 21wk scan, which is like the big thing of is my buba healthy etc etc...

Anyway enough about me babbling lol.
Yay your nearly at the stage of having your wonderful baby in your arms! x

definately know what you mean, im 22 + 1 today, i have my scan this aftrenoon and im feelin the same nerves im nearly at the viable stage and (6 months...sound so far on)
i think well done to us all and roll on our due dates!!

You're 23 weeks and one day - that means you're in the 24th week!

Week one is from zero days to 7 days. Week two is between week one adn two. Thats how I see it anyway. I'm 30 years old and some months, but this is my 31st year of life (My zero year wasnt counted as a figure but for teh first year (zero to one) I was still here..
