Gosh, me, the Easter Bunny, needs to hurry up and go shopping today or my kids won't be very happy waking up in the morning.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh, you know what is sad. My daughter is 6 and at around 3 and 4 she realized what the holidays were all about and who the main characters were....Santa and the Easter Bunny.
A girl in her class, Grade 1, told her that there's no such thing as the Easter Bunny. One of the girls who lives next door and who is 8 told her the same thing yesterday.
UGH! Why do parents tell their kids so early? |

UGH! Why do parents tell their kids so early? | I think prob as they want the kids to know the eggs/presents are from them & not santa/easter bunny. I think it is a really mean thing to do but I have friends that do that!!

I'm Currently Feeling: | tee hee Happy Easter.
We woke up this morning and outside is like christmas... all white with snow....
So... my hubby rang the house phone with his mobile, and I answered....
" Hello......... Yes........... Oh !! Hello Mr Easter Bunny, how are you?........ Yes, they've been very good...... "
At this point, Lewis is stood next to me with his mouth open wide in amazement...
" I see........ Well, I must admit, we were a bit surprised !!....... Ooooh, that explains it then..... Yes, I'll let them know...... Thankyou very much, and Happy Easter from all of us...Bye "
Lewis is jumping around " What did he say, what did he say?!".
Ethan catches the bug, and jumps around too " Diddee Day, Diddee Day".
I told them that it was sooo cold last night, that he wasn't going to be able to do all of the work on his own... so he phoned his cousin 'Snow Bunny', to give him a hand. Thats what has made it snow !!!
