Hello ladiesThis is my 1st post on the forum and its a bit of a biggy. I am 20weeks pregnant and had my scan a week ago and ever since have thought i should of found out. Thing is, i have a beautiful boy and am dying to meet my baby but feel terrible inside as i feel like if i could choose, id choose a girl. Ive never said this to anyone but my partner. Please dont think im too bad as i will love my baby so much and i wish i never thought that and i have been very dissapointed in myself for even thinking it

My question is, would you find out now or wait till babies born if you felt like this? I just dont know whats for the best.

Hope someone can give me advice.xx

Don't worry hun!! I want a boy!!! I would be dissapointed few a few minutes if it's another girl, but as long as baby is healthy!!! You are perfectly fine to be thinking this, no one is going to judge you!!! Least of all in this forum!!!!

If i were you i would possibly find out as they you can work towards settling your feelings then tou have 20 weeks to get used to it and then at the birth you would feel settled to know what you are having and accept it!!

It is showing up in the second trimester, not sure why you cant see it, sorry.

We are going to find out at my 20 week scan, because we cant wait!!! and probably for the same reasons, i think with your second you are inclined to lean one way or another, one of each is lovely, but health is better!!! I think it would put your mind at rest!! Your decision though chick x x x

I also read this thing on Pregnancy and baby.com and it was about wanting a certain sex and getting the other, it was really good and gave some great advice!! maybe u should try finding it.

I really wanted a girl this time, as I already have a boy at home... When I found out I was having another Boy I actually cried... for a split second, but it wasn't cause I was upset or anything, it was just a whole bunch of different emotions, I cant explain. But I am now soooo excited to give my son a baby brother, and I know that they will be the best of Buds!! Whatever happens, remember that it was meant to be

I was also hoping girl and foudn out its a boy, it took a few minutre for me to think about everything overall and im glad the baby is healthy and im sure Ill get used to a son. he is a part of me and i'll love him no matter what but it was a bit of a wow at first for me, its a normal feeling I think, Now im elated he is coming and healthy and growing and we are getting ready to meet him !
