Stupid Question???

This prob sounds silly but when does your bump start to get harder?
I'm 16+4 and have a noticeable bump but is still soft, maybe its just flab lol.

Depends on weight and where your uterus is placing itself I guess lol

I am about to hit 31 weeks, and I don't think my bump is particularly hard unless I am having a BH contraction, or the baby is in the area I am pokin'.

I've just noticed mine getting harder in the last week. I can noticably feel how high my uterus is now. When I'm lying on my back it feels rock hard up to just before my belly button. The top half is obviously still soft.

Hm you know it's weird because when I first wake up mine is hard as a rock. (I'm 21 weeks flat!) but gradually as I move around more or if I eat it gets soft, sometimes it goes hard again during the day.
I often wonder if I'm just poking away at my poor LO's head or thigh or something.

mine isn't usually hard unless the baby is pushing out or kicking/punching or if I just ate or have gas

Mine has only got really hard in the last few weeks. I think when I was about 28 or 29 weeks. Now it's just lumps of baby sticking out everywhere.

Mine feels soft still but I laid on my belly on the living room floor last night (don't ask) and it was like a little football was in there and I struggled to stay straight! How cool! Not hard when stood up though!
