Excercising


I didnt really do any excercise before I was pregnant but would really like to do some aqua aerobics now.
I rang the leisure centre who said I should speak to my doc as they recommend you do the sports/activities you did before u were pregnant only...
Lady at leisure centre said she'd advise swimming, but I cant swim!

Is anyone else in the same boat?

You can get Aqua natal classes specifically for Pregnant women and it doesn't matter if you haven't done anything before. I haven't and that's what I'm going to start doing.

yeah the class I found is not aqua natal... thats why she said I might find it a strain as I wasnt doing before pregnancy...
I wonder where I can find about aqua natal classes.. where did u find it?

I used to work at my local leisure centre and know that they do them, although my midwife gave me leaflet as well at my booking appointment.....maybe it's worth asking your's if she knows of any in the area??

Arghh dammit- cant find any aqua natal classes on internet
doc says he will need to see me & check blood pressure etc before he gives me the go ahead! Im actually getting worried now & thinking i shouldnt go aqua fit only aqua natal- IF i can find them!!
