I'm Currently Feeling: | Yes, you can take Tums while being pregnant. All the pregnant girls that I know took them as well. I have been eating them like candy cause I get heart burn all the time. Also, you may try drinking more milk. I am going to try that as well. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | gaviscon is crap - did nothing for me, tried the tablets and the liquid and both were disgusting.
Tums for me work wonder, and in seconds!! Plus they are A LOT better to taste than that minging gavicon stuff lol |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Has anything worked for you so far ??
People kept telling me to have milk, but the so much milk just made me sick !
First i used Gaviscon...but then i dont think it was effective. Anyway i had a little way that i used to help prevent it which was to eat bland things, nothing too spicy or acidic (i even used to try get the drinks without citric acid) and i'd eat little at a time (not that i could eat lots anyway). Also i ate well in advance before going to bed so that i could be upright and give time for the food to go down...* I used to have peppermint tea about 20 mins to half an hour after my food. Peppermint helps with digestion so it should help also. | | | | Status: Offline
