Question

Do men get pregnancy symptoms?

May sound like a strange question but its the only thing I can think of which may offer an explanation to OH's strange behaviour lately!

I have had a mad craving for fruit all the way through my pregnancy and OH enjoys a bit of fruit too, however recently he's been saying he cant watch me eat fruit as its making him feel ill. Asked him to get an apple out of the bowl for me at lunchtime and he was physically heaving when passing it to me! He has also developed a liking for cheese, something he has never eaten before - hes having it with every meal of the day, including breakfast and is snacking on small lumps of cheddar!
Hes doing other strange things too, like he had a couple of cans of cider the other night and when I went to do the washing up I noticed the empty cans were in the bowl and the glasses had been put in the bin - he was absolutely shocked as to why he had done it and couldnt explain!

Just wondered if anyone else's OH's are behaving strangley or if its just mine!!

I haven't noticed anything strange. My husband is just overly excited about the baby. He has already painted the nursery and set up the baby's crib. He has done more things around the house like clean the garage out and stuff like that. As far as food goes, me and hubby both like food a lot so nothing out of the ordinary there. He just has been really supportive throughout this pregnancy (putting up with my ever changing hormones) bless his heart.

I've never experienced it, but my BF's husband gets morning sickness when she's pregnant.

I think they do, my OH gained a lil weight and when I was not in some sort of pain, physically...he was...as if he was taking a load off me for a bit.

Yeah i also read that men frequently suffer from the same symptoms you do, or different ones. I believe they're called 'pregnancy pains' although I wouldn't bet my life on it.

I don't think my boyfriend had any symptoms but when my mum was pregnant, my dad got the morning sickness and told her that she was expecting. My mum on the other hand, felt fine.
