Hi,

Just wondering whether anyone can shed some light on the following - its the only part of the anomoly scan i am confused with as although the reading was between the levels it was near the lower line and wandered if anyone can tell me whats good and whats bad..

transcerebellar (TCD)

I understand its a measurement of the base of the brain or something but wanted to know a little bit more about why they measure and whats good and whats not.

Its supposed to give a more accurate guide as to gestational age than other measurements. Its accuracy is believed to be no more than 4 days out, depending on the gestation.
