Do you think I should wait for the New Year sales to buy the big baby items?

Do Mothercare, Babies R Us and Kiddicare.com do sales during this time??

Is it worth waiting for the new year sales to buy the moses basket, cot, travel system etc?

These items are all quite expensive - what are the chances I could save a few bob?

I'm waiting until after Xmas to buy my pram and car seat. They're the only big things I've got left to buy. Not sure if they'll even be on sale, but got nothing to loose by eating a handful of weeks x

I agree, I'm still going to buy them without a sale!

I looked online a while back about this topic and it basically said that it is only really baby clothes that go on sale in January since the rest is not seasonal. However I have no idea if that is true and if it is to what extent.
