They are not by any means common. Only 1 fifth of all miscarriages occur in the second Trimester.

For example, it is estimated that somewhere around 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage, and the vast majority of these occur within the first trimester of pregnancy; actually, they typically occur in the first weeks of pregnancy, often before a woman even knows she is pregnant. i read it reduces by a certain percentage every week. It's low anyway.

I like to have milestones I can tick off. Week 12 was the first, then 14 (second tri) and now I've my sights set on weeks 26 - 27 when if baby is born early the chances of sruvival are 80-90%.

I'm sure you've nothing to worry about at all.
