I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't know the exact percentages, but your chance of miscarriage drops dramatically in the second trimester |

| They are not by any means common. Only 1 fifth of all miscarriages occur in the second Trimester. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Miscarriage is a topic that no one likes to think about. The good news is that, if you have made it to the second trimester of pregnancy, your risks of miscarriage have dropped dramatically. For example, it is estimated that somewhere around 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage, and the vast majority of these occur within the first trimester of pregnancy; actually, they typically occur in the first weeks of pregnancy, often before a woman even knows she is pregnant. In contrast, only about 1 percent of pregnancies, once they have made it halfway, will wind up ending in a bad way.
I got that off a website... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i read it reduces by a certain percentage every week. It's low anyway.
1% or 2% or something.
I like to have milestones I can tick off. Week 12 was the first, then 14 (second tri) and now I've my sights set on weeks 26 - 27 when if baby is born early the chances of sruvival are 80-90%.
I'm sure you've nothing to worry about at all. |
