Well my last 3 were 35 weeks, 33 weeks and 31 weeks (went into labour at 30)

SO they are getting earlier and earlier.

They dont know, they just think its because ive had so many.

If i can get to 35 weeks, i will be happy!

Is it worth them scanning your cervix every few weeks? Or at least checking it? Do you have to have bedrest? This is my 6th, as you know, but mine are always very late.

See none of mine have gone to due date. The other 5 were 38-39 weeks so it must just be me!

I havent seen the consultant yet, seeing him on thursday so will see what he says.

The last time, they didnt think it would happen again (even though id already had 2 prems) so they were a bit flippant about it. At 30 weeks, he was really quiet and something didnt seem right, so i went and they gave me steroids. I went into labour 5 days later!

They tried to stop it for 3 days, but he was born right on 31 weeks.

This time im not going to let them fob me off!

No dont! How stupid of them not to try and help you get further!

I would imagine bed rest is going to be hard for you, unless they admit you, but I am ure they can do other things as well.

Sean was born at 35 weeks and he was fine. No problems.

Ellis was born at 33 weeks. She had oxygen by mask for a couple of hours, a bit of jaundice, but then just a feeding tube until her sucking reflex kicked in. She was out in 2 weeks.

Lewis was born 2 hours into my 31st week! He had a bit of oxygen and he had some caffine drops for a few days because his heartrate was going up and down. Apparently thats almost normal for a prem baby and they all recover from that. He also had an infection of his cord site but that cleared with antibiotics. Jaundice too, but he was out within 3 weeks and the docs were amazed!

Ive just got to stay positive x
