I thought you did have to have a full bladder so drank waaaaaaayyyyy to much water and by the time my appointment came round I was bursting and was starting to hurt! To cut a long story short, the midwife said it was fine to scan at 20 weeks with an empty bladder and scan pics were great too.

Good luck with the scan x
Bloody hell I think I'd burst if I had that much! My 12 week scan said to attend with a "comfortably full" bladder, the 20 week says there is no need to attend with a full bladder

Yeah funny as noone told me to either empty or have a full bladder on my scan.
I would imagine though at 20 weeks the baby is big so no need for a full bladder? I dont see the sense with that`?
