In Pain, please read :(

Hi Ladies. I think posted a thread similar to this a while back but I couldn't find it. I started having pain right between my groin and leg (where they connect) at around 13 weeks. It was more aching than pain. I also started having back pain at that time. While yesterday I was moving in bed and I actually yelled out loud because the pain between my groin and leg hurt so bad! Now I feel like I have to walk weird or limp, because it is aching/hurting. What is this? It really sucks as I have to go to work and stand around, is this part of pregnancy?

It may well be the start of SPD - you need to make an appointment with GP or midwife to get it checked, you shouldnt be in that much pain and having to stand around a lot at work x

it sounds like S.P.D - SYMPHYSIS PUBIS DYSFUNCTION, and/or sciatica. let your midwife know hun and they should refer you to physio.
I was out shopping yesterday and by the time i got home i could barly walk. its horrible

I've had this too. It could be what the other girls say but it also could just be ligament pains...definately worth speaking to a MW about xx

Sciatica feels a lot like that. My doctor says that it usually eases up after 20 weeks... with my last 2 pregnancies it didn't start until late in pregnancy though and got better after baby was born. This time it started early but has eased up since 20 weeks... it will probably come back towards the end though. Right now your uterus is probably pressing on the sciatic nerve. Towards the end the baby's head can do it.

Did it feel like when you were walking that your leg would just give out on you?? I've been having this problem too, i would just be walking and all of a sudden my leg would give out...And trying to lay down it bed it would hurt if i bent the wrong way
