Sex positions, sorry but really need advice

Ok here goes and I apologise in advance if I offend anyone.
Last night hubby and I tried to have sex, for the first time in ages, as Ive been sick, heartburn, aches and pains etc and sex was just not on my mind.

However, all started off well untill we tried our 'good old faithful' position (spooning) and discovered that it no longer seems to work, the angle seemed all off.
So we tried another position (him on top, which worked angle wise, however crushed my belly. So we went back to old faithful and managed to sort the angle issue out only to have to stop cos my belly felt like it was being crushed and streched all at the same time.

Now I feel really bad for hubby and wanted to find out from you girlies what positions work best for you? Might post on 3rd tri too, cos Im almost ready to move over.

Thanks

ok here goes....I hope I don't sound like a perv! lol

My belly is pretty big actually and we have a hell of a time getting comfy, so we figured that if we stack the pillows I can lean on them with my belly hanging down if that makes sense and do it doggy style lol I'm seriously blushing hehe that gives him good angle and me gives me all the control so I can move according to comfort, and also hold my boobs in place so they are not swinging around too much.
Good luck

Ok I have a question...I hope you don't mind me asking...

My sex drive is really high at the moment (after weeks of being completely exhausted have loads of energy again!) but I am worried that OH is hitting my cervix too hard and is going to damage it in someway which could effect the pregnancy. Is that possible? I am so conscious of this and he tries his best to be gentle but can sometimes get carried away!

Been wanting to ask this for a while but too embarassed so thank you for starting this thread!!

x

Good old doggy style works mostly for us and i put pillows under my bump.

Poppykat, as long as hes gentle , it will be fine. You would prob get some pain and bleeding if he was being too rough!

Yeah we like doggy style with suitable pillows supporting my bump and boobs!

I also like lying on my back with my legs on his shoulders... this means I can see his face but my legs are protecting my bump from him. (Only do it if it's comfortable though).

Poppykat - my midwife said your body will tell you if somethings wrong (pain or spotting etc...) but if you're worried, try swapping to a position where he can't penetrate you so deeply. That's why we do the one I mentioned above, with my feet on his shoulders, because he can't go in so deep and I can relax and enjoy it without spending the whole time thinking about my cervix!

Yay for higher sex drives though, my hubby thinks pregnancy is great at the moment!

xx

not sure what is' called, but he lies on his side and you lie at a right angle with your legs over his top leg, your legs closed, his legs closed, kind of like an X.
That really works for us
I'm on my back and comfy and he can continue the momentum

Or else doggy and I hold my stomach.

We find it easier to spoon at the moment.

But while we are on this embarassing topic, i have a question....... My lady area is VERY VERY VERY sensitive lately. I think it has to do with the increase in blood volume in our bodies. But it just makes sex so uncomfortable

Any other ladies have the same thing?

I also have the same thing Romybug... I didn't know until I looked it up because I was so embarrassed, that the same hormones that make your boobs swell makes everything down there swell up as well!

So not only does it feel different to you but your partner might notice that things are bigger etc... it can make you much more sensitive.

One lady in a forum even seemed to be being aroused and having orgasms from walking etc...!
