my MIL is buying one for us and she asked which one we like, and we chosen a nice one but she said it's not comfortable to push on a bumpy road bla bla bla... so i told my OH to tell her not to ask me because she doesn't take any notice from me anyway.
Does it matter with the brand name or the size?

Its not up to your MIL its up to you guys. I'd be stubborn there and say not to bother if its not your decision.

Going on how often I see people change their prams your decision is important not necessarily brand but it has to be one brand or other!

I like the look of that iCandy one and like the fact I could use it for Nathan and this baby then just for this baby when Nathan dosen't need to use a pushchair anymore

Was looking for some more info on those iCandy strollers and came upon this website...changed my mind quickly. Does not look too good in the reviews from other mommies.

You can never please everyone on every product I guess!

Picked on a few points:

Quote:
Overall the pram has been fine but it has taken me three months to get the hang of collapsing the pram.
Clearly not too smart this is SO easy - what I find is a little catch you press I sometimes forget & try & put it down. You push a button then pull the bar up and down and its folds.

Quote:
Changing the pram wheels from three to four took 30 mintues.
Not changed the wheels to 3 (thats personal choice) but like most things that change they need to be secured right - from what I see its just changing the bar and wheels - a few screws out a few screws in. Maybe they had bother reading the instructions

Quote:
absolutely fuming because of the difficulty to maneuver this buggy
Well the wheels move at the front of the pram when lifting onto buses etc but no more than simular designs. In general a smooth pusher so confused by that comment and we use the pram alot in local town & on buses.

Quote:
The folding mechanism has gone wrong and no longer collapses. Trying to get it fixed has proved to be a nightmare. I bought the pram from two left feet who's customer service is just as ...
Two left feet has a very bad reputation no wonder they had bother.

Quote:
The customer service I received from iCandy was appalling! Their staff were unfriendly and unsympathetic.
It has 3 years guarantee. Tam (one of the mods) had a wee prob with her wheels Apple sent her a new set almost immediately.

Theres my input on the bad comments - plenty of great ones

As for the width of pram don't worry about the carboot. The wheels clip off and on within a second
