i know its early but....


we have decorated the babys nursery.
we painted it yesterday and put the boarder on today.
all we need now is a cot and a chest of draws and some nice curtains and then that should be it.

i know its early but who cares,im so excited we are having a baby. woohoo x x

You're not alone. My husband and his mom painted the nursery on Saturday. It still needs some touch ups done and then we are going to rent a rug doctor and clean the carpet in there. It's not too early, you're just ahead of the game. That way, you don't have to do it later. What colors did you do? We have a crib, but need new furniture. It's so exciting getting all the baby stuff together. If you're anything like me, you want everything to be perfect.

i would post pics but it doesnt show up when i take a picture.

its a light green on the bottom and a very creamy yellow on top with a winnie the pooh border.

yes i want everything to be perfect. we still need to touch up some of the paint but i couldnt wait to put border on.

im so pleased with it and im jelous that i havnt got a bedroom like that.

i will try and post pics soon x x

we're doing ours over Easter weekend. Can't wait!!

It involves a lot of hand painting of large animals so I expect there to either be 1) lots of laughter or 2) lots of stres when it goes hideously wrong! hahahahah

we went for the easy option and went with just two colours.
i dread to think how hard it will be do paint animals on the walls,i got stressed just doing the boarder.haha

I don't think it's too early at all! At least it's done!

Starting this weekend hopefully we want to start on the nursery. Keeping in mind that it's currently a storage room lol so we've gotto find another place for everything first. We've sorted out another room for that though.

It's amazing how much cr@p one gathers over a few years.
