I had my triple tests done last thursday and wondered roughly how long the results take to come in (I'm really inpatient lol!!!)
The Midwife said she'd be in touch if theres a problem with them but if not they would tell me the results at the 20 week scan.
But would still like to know them sooner just to put my mind at ease, do you think leaving it a week is long enough, then I can ring and ask??

I'd call and ask They may tell you they haven't come in yet but could tell you possibly when they will.

You should get the result through the post in around two weeks.. i got my downs one through the post. The others she told me at MW's appt.

My Midwife said that I would get a piece of paper posted with the results to me within 7 working days - it came about 5 days after I had bloods taken. She said that if there had been any problem that she would ring me 3 days after the bloods were taken.

It's very annoying how some NHS's make you wait for results and some post them within a week. Allthough my NHS lost my results for my toxo blood test (to do with contact with cats and the virus they can pass I can't remember the name) which thankfully isn't really important at the moment! Hopefullu when I go back for my 20 week scan she'll have them.

If you are really worried, give them a call.
