Not sure if this is you're first...but when I was 16-19 weeks fetal movements were not regular every day....one day there was a lot and there was very little or none for the next 4 days.....they were sporadic.

I asked my OB and she said (with your first anyway) that fetal movements don't usually become "regular" until after 20 weeks....the baby could be facing inward etc.

But if you're really worried...phone your GP. I am sure all is fine honey.

I had the vaccine at 19 weeks and all is fine with me....

I would take that option hun. You are worrying yourself and it is not good. If some stranger thinks you are a bit over cautious... who cares? At least you will know everything is ok. And if not, you will surely be glad you got seen.

Good Luck hun

hi hun, i felt my baby (this pregnancy) early on and felt him/her moving for a while ( was regular) then it just stopped and i didnt feel anything at all, no flutters.. nothing, untill i was just passed 19 weeks.
im not sure about the pain,i know we get all sorts of pains. i would phone your gp instead and explain that your getting vey anxious about this and nobody seems to want to do anything. maybe your gp can help.

xx

When I was 16 weeks I coild have little kicks then go for days with little or no obvious movement. However, the midwives say any change which concerns you should be investigated. I would definitley book an appointment with your doctor and mention the lack of movement. It might be nothing, it might be something, but you'll only know if you get checked. I would do it sooner rather than later - to make sure all is well with the baby and for your peace of mind as the worry won't do either of you any good. Get checked!

I think at your stage it really isn't unusual not to feel movement daily - or even for a few days. my friend felt movement at 17 weeks for a few days, then it totally went away - she is 21 weeks and still nothing, but she had her 20 week scan and all is perfect. not sure if this helps but i had my vaccine (pandemrix) on saturday and still feeling movement normally. but can't you make a MW appt and ask her to have a listen if you are worried xx

I wouldnt worry as movements can be erratic this early on. To ease your mind (as you are probably a little on edge as we all were after the vaccine) I would call your MW but am sure all will be fine
