| Mum (Mom) BnB Addict  Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: middle east Posts: 4,375 | glucose test i did the glucose test today for gestational diabetes. i didnt get the results yet but i just wanted to tell u girls its really not so bad. i thought it was gonna be awful and id throw up. ya the stuff is sweet but its not sickly. i took a bottle with a half a cup of lemon juice with and added it to the mix and it must have helped because i downed the cup in a min. there was even some powder left in the bottom and the nurse had to add a bit more water and it was fine. i had to hang around for an hour and then she took some blood. so for all of you who are dreading it, honestly mine was fine. lets hope for good results.  |
