Sharp pains in lower abdomen at 21 weeks?

Hey...
I woke up this morning and pulled my uterus and got a really intense sharp pain...it was agony...and all this morning ive had aches and pains when I cough and move and bend etc...anyone else still having ligament pains at 20/21 weeks.

i get the all the time, dont really know what it is , i plam to ask my mw when next see her but that isnt for a while yet so at the mo i tend to sit down and relax when i feel like it. sorry wasnt much help just didnt want to read and run xx

Mine were so bad this last week I ended up in the hospital for 3 days! They thought it was my appendix! I kow how horrible they can be I really felt like something was wrong and that me and the baby wouldn't make it

But, now that we have figured out that it is ligament pain there are things you can do to relieve it. If you look at a diagram the ligaments stretch from your lower back over your hip and into your belly...I got my husband to massage the hip that hurt and he could actually feel the problem and with massage and hot baths and a little codene unfortunately it is finally starting to ease. So try a bath a a light massage and see if that helps

So sorry you are in pain it is really not fun at all!

I had some wierd cramping aching pain accross my bump last night. i just put it down to growing

i wake up most nights with it aswell

I get them when i walk, really really badly! i have apt with MW on Thurs so I am def talking to her about it! x

I was in hospital this time last week with this and it was agony. Initially thought it was appendicitis for me too.

It was complete agony and I couldn't move. DH had to take 2 days off work to literally lift me out of bed and carry me to the loo. Felt so helpless, and I have never known pain like it.

I didn't realise it was such a common thing!

I also didn't realise how fragile we all are now! I was at aqua natal when I hurt myself, I didn't even feel it pull!
