Quick appointment today.

I had a really quick appointment today. All they did was weigh me, take my blood pressure, then measure my belly and listen to the baby's heartbeat.
My boy's been really active all day, so when the midwife went to listen he gave at least 3 good whacks at the midwife and the doppler.
Next appointment will be at 28 weeks and I'll have the gestational diabetes test, so I was given a container of sugar water to drink an hour before my appointment. I decided that fruit punch sounded like it might taste best. I was happy to hear I wouldn't need to fast before although I was told I would be better off sticking to protein vs carbs for my breakfast and lunch.

oh so it looks exactly like 16 weeks appointment and my 22 weeks - quick and easy. Girls are saying orange tastes better than other two they are offering but let us know

are you having it every two-three weeks now? why at 28?

I was away all last week for the holiday, so this one was 5 weeks from before instead of 4, so they're just getting me back on track. I hear the fruit punch actually tastes best. I hadn't heard that it was an option before, just orange, lemon-lime, and cola. I can't stand orange and I hear the lemon-lime is the worst, so fruit punch it is. I think they want this test done between 26-28 weeks as well. It's dextrose, so I'm hoping it tastes like a pixie stick! I freaked myself out a little earlier, when I realized that I'll be in 3rd trimester for the next appointment.
